B) NWT Licence Plate
In 1970 the Northwest Territories introduced the polar bear shaped licence
plate to commemorate the NWT’s centennial year. While this design
was never intended to be permanent, it received such public interest the
design has been retained ever since. Be the envy of all the other motorists
